My video playing the roadside:
Amazing game! I've been avoiding 3d modeling since it's too hard but this makes me want to go and try again XDThank you very much for the video! The game is an experiment in EFPSE CE engine.
In addition to participating in the game jam, i also wanted to uncover a few engine issues. Perhaps the game would have been much better and more beautiful if i exclude the experimental case from development and just made an interesting game. I'm glad you liked it despite the experimental nature of the project.
3D modelling can be more fun then hard if you will not set the difficul goals in graphics style (i think so). Wish you good luck in 3d modelling!
This was beautiful! Although I confess the long comment dude "helped", I got stuck not finding the axe XD Can I ask how was the map done? is the whole map a model? I recorded my gameplay and will post soon
The location is assembled from 3D models. The models themselves are ready-made parts that are assembled together. It turns out to be something like a constructor. Thank you!
This is one of the most atmospheric and beautiful games I've seen on this engine. But I couldn't finish it. Too much searching for objects in a dark forest and inconspicuous places, with -5 vision and a limp on both legs. It took me a lot of effort, but I got an axe from the ashes, then I found three batteries in the bushes, 40 rounds for a revolver and a pistol in a house full of basins with offal. But when I was asked to find the key to the gate, I couldn't. I don't know what the matter was, I went to the house for it, but I didn't find it, I looked for a staircase to the second floor, but it wasn't there (probably because EFPS doesn't support multi-leveling), then I saw two enemies on the street, shot them, but I still couldn't find that damn key anywhere nearby. Then I went back to the forest, for some reason the enemies appeared again and there were a lot of them, I killed them all, but I still didn't get or find the key. I walking the level several times, but the slow walking became unbearable. It was like when I was a kid and you can't beat the game, but you keep fighting it to see what happens next, but I still had to give up because I started getting angry at the game for wasting my time.
Slow walking + searching for items in an unknown place is very boring.
But I am grateful for the positive emotions I still managed to get from the game.
Thank you for feedback! This game is made in very short time and i didn't have time and opportunity to polish it for better experience. You had to shoot the skeleton on the tree. This game must have help notes but for my own stupidity i cutted them. It was really wrong decision.
Damn! I was thinking about that, but I wasted all my ammo on those fat bastards in the woods. I'll finish the job, thanks.
A very creepy and scary game
Nice this was really good game I like it anyway well done keep it up!
nice
I see optimization problems. Can you tell me your PC specs, please? This will help me in further work on the game.
